Silicone paste I-GUM for making molds

I-GUM silicone paste is easy to use:

• Remove equal amounts of ingredient "A" and ingredient "B" from the cups and work them in your hands to combine the two ingredients perfectly (knead for max 1 minute). The mass can be handled and applied by hand without gloves, apply within 2 minutes of first combining the two components.
• Immediately after mixing the resulting mass, form a ball and press it into the centre of the object until it is completely covered. A thickness of a few millimetres is sufficient. The mass cures in about 4 minutes depending on the ambient temperature.
• If you only want to make the edge of the mould for casting coasters, for example, shape the I-GUM directly on the base on which you will later cast. Make sure that the silicone mass is firmly pressed against the pad.
• The silicone mould is ready. Remove the original model and start casting into the mould.

100 g of the mass will cover an area of approximately 20 × 20 cm.

When used correctly, up to 50 castings can be made from plaster, resin, low fusible metal or wax from one mould. There is no need to use separators on the resulting mould.

Storage: 12 months dry in original packaging.

Clean the resulting moulds with soapy water.

The mixture is not classified as hazardous according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
