Tutorial for Coffee Pendant Using UV Resin
You will need:
- UV lamp;
- Pentart UV crystal resin;
- any frames;
- coffee beans;
- ground coffee;
- stiff paper;
- tape;
- scissors;
- jewelry tape
1. Cut the required length of jewelry tape from the stiff paper, secure it with tape or other available adhesives to the stiff paper to prevent movement. Make sure that the total width fits under the UV lamp. Place the jewelry tape with the sticky side up.
Arrange the frames and press them well onto the sticky surface of the jewelry tape. Apply a thin layer of resin to all frames and spread it evenly across the surface with a toothpick.
2. Turn on the UV lamp for 60 seconds.
3. Apply another layer of UV resin, sprinkle ground coffee according to your own creativity, and decorate with coffee beans. Work the ground coffee into the resin with a toothpick, ensuring it is not too thick. Bake again for 60 seconds under the UV lamp.
4. For the final step, apply resin between the coffee beans, clean the edges with a toothpick, and cure for 2 x 60 seconds.
5. Congratulations, you’re done. Carefully peel off the frames and attach them to chains.
