More Complex Patterns in NatuResin Mineral Resin

How to do it?
Have you already experimented with various effects using mineral resin and are now aiming for more intricate patterns? If you don’t want to simply pour differently colored NatuResin into the mold and hope for a good outcome, grab some powder pigments and paint the patterns directly into the mold! All you'll need are brushes, powder colors, and your imagination.
The fineness of the patterns and the complexity of the images depend solely on your skill and the width of your brushes. However, if you're unsure about the precision of your painting, you can pre-print the image you want to paint into the mold and place the printed image under the mold. It will shine through clearly, making it easy for you to trace.
Did you make a mistake while painting the pattern?
Then there’s nothing easier than erasing the mistake! You can do this using a paper towel or a cotton swab. Apply a little water or our NanoTech cleaner to it and simply wipe it away. The advantage of this technique is not only the precision in painting but also that the metallic powder colors retain their shine.
Finally, shake out the excess color from the mold and pour in the mineral resin, which will capture the painted pattern.
To color or not to color?
Don’t want the underside of your product to be white? Or do you want to paint only parts of the mold and color the rest? Then it’s as simple as coloring the NatuResin before casting, just like we did with the lotus mold.
And that’s it!
After removing the product from the mold, simply wash the mold of any leftover colors with water and dish soap or NanoTech cleaner, and you’re done.
