This tutorial was sent to us by our customer Evča Studničková, who creates with NatuResin together with her child. So how do you make these beautiful pieces?
Materials used:
▪️ Scale
▪️ Water
▪️ Resin color Colorfun orange, black, blue
Procedure:
▪️ In a suitable mixing container (I use an old bowl), mix the resin according to the attached manual. The mixed resin is smooth, compact, and without lumps.
▪️ Pour the resin into cups and color it with Colorfun pigments. Stir thoroughly and prepare for the casting itself.
▪️ You can pour the colored resin in any way you like. Pouring it over itself creates a beautiful speckled effect after drying, or you can apply a base color with a spatula and then pour more layers on top.
▪️ After filling the entire mold, start shaking it and tapping it to release all the air bubbles.
▪️ Let the prepared casting harden for about an hour, then carefully remove it from the mold.
▪️ The result is a beautifully smooth and pleasant-to-touch product.
My observations:
- Even a 4-year-old child can do the casting under supervision.
- You can also cast into molds with texture; it looks very good. If you leave it white, it can be beautifully colored with paints, keeping your child entertained for a while.
- Make sure the resin fills all the mold’s crevices, so don't hesitate to give it a good shake.
